About Us

My name's Kevin.

If you are like me, making things with your hands and making them right is an important reflection of who you are.

I am a tool and die maker. I’ve also worked as a mold maker, instrument maker, and have owned my own business. The business was a plastic injection mold shop that gradually gave way to the Chinese.

I have always had a fondness for all of the older Wilton Bench Vises that were made to last in America before 1995. I created wiltonviseparts.net in 2012 that is devoted to their restoration...

...and now, after realizing the avid interest and great need for restoring other kinds of domestic bench vises, I am going to do what I can to keep them and their proud owners up and running too.  I really enjoy hearing all of the great vise stories from all over the country, and then seeing pictures of older vises brought back to life!

The machine shop is located near Estes Park, Colorado. There is passion here for building precision hand fabricated replacement vise parts that are heat treated and cost effective.  We want every owner that wants to restore their classic bench vise to have premium custom jaws, and the best precision parts possible.
